Farewell Address

5/16/2012

Well it's that time of year again.  What will you do without AP Psych guiding your life? LOL!  To my seniors, Best Wishes and Good Luck in all that you may strive to do.  Remember the many lessons you learned in this class:
- Procrastination is the enemy of success.
- As within, so without.
- You got to BE what you want to SEE.
- Students don't fail in college because they lack intelligence but because they lack preparation... (and all those other Woods Quotes you tweeted during class... LOL!).  You will be greatly missed.
To my juniors (that stepped up to the AP challenge..fist bump), See ya next year!  And no you can't come hang out in my room as seniors and reminiscence about all the wonderful things you learned in this class last year.  Ha! I'm kidding (or am I....).  I will always be available for your mini-therapy sessions in the hall and recommendation requests.  Have a great summer!

3.5 items – books, movies, or songs about the disorder (i.e A Beautiful Mind for schizophrenia) 4.Symptoms of the disorder
5.Potential causes of the disorder

8.Two multiple choice quiz questions to be presented to the class.

Talking White

One paragraph about "What is talking white?".

Okay you guys.... After reviewing the book assessment, I realized you absolutely must know the second part of chapter 9 in your textbook (forgetting, memory construction, misinformation effect, etc.).  It would be an injustice to the "Psychology Gods" to expect you to have read ahead and completed your outlines :).  So, I guess i'm going to have to push the book assessment back to Monday.  However, that means you can get started on your intelligence essay this weekend. Yay!  You will find the essay question on the file below. Go to the provided links and use them as resources to develop your essay.  It should be typed, 12 pt. font, Times New Roman, 1 inch margins.  Please adhere to all essay writing formats and guidelines.  Have a Great Weekend! Happy Studying....
