By now you should have purchased The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat, by Oliver Sacks.  You will take an in-class assessment on this book.  Read and highlight chapters 1, 3, 5, 15, 19, and 22.  Your assessment will be on Friday 3/23.

Okay you guys, its time to put your thinking caps on.  This is the unit I warned you about.  Please, please, please LISTEN to me and you will do just fine.

The psychoactive drug quiz will be 10-15 questions on drug categories.  Study your notes from class.  The "possible" vocabulary terms are posted under Test and Review.  Remember, you can bring your cards.  Good Luck!

Due to scheduling problems we will not be able to have the 2nd day of Dialogue in the Dark.  I would like to personally thank my wonderful crew! You guys were great.  Thanks for your extra time and effort.

This post is for my Dialogue in the Dark crew members.  Use the powerpoint slide below to familiarize yourself with the presentation expectations for tomorrow's student swap.  You may use this slideshow or prezi or moviemaker to make your presentation interesting.  Remember, no more than 10-15 minutes. Complete the assignment and bring it to class tomorrow.

Your quiz tomorrow will cover the following:
Parts of the eye (I will give you a diagram and a word bank)
Color Blindness
Trichromatic Theory and Opponent Process Theory
Rods and Cones

Also, print the video permission form out and have your parents sign for Thursday's movie.

For tomorrow's writing assessment you will need to study the concepts under the Test and Review tab.  Also, be aware that you will not be allowed to bring any books, paper, etc. to class tomorrow.  All you will need is something to write with and your wisdom of chapters 3 & 4.  Good Luck!
